After graduating in science, Guido devoted all his energy to his passion for the high mountains. At the age of 23, he became one of the youngest people to earn both his mountain guide certificate and his ski instructor’s licence at the same time. Visionary and independent, with a passion for service, setting up his own business became a natural way of combining work and passion. Over the years, Guido has managed to develop the company in line with market requirements. In 20 years, he became a true entrepreneur, building a loyal and efficient team around him. Keen to stay in touch with what’s happening in the field, he has taken various training courses over the years, including those for professional skippers and diving instructors. President of the Gryon Tourist Office for 5 years, Guido has also been head of mountain rescue for many years and has been actively involved in over 300 rescue missions. He still shares his experience as head of training for rescue columns in French-speaking Switzerland, as well as REGA’s helicopter rescue specialists.
