After training as a professional pilot, he went on to study mechanical engineering, followed a few years later by postgraduate studies in Business and Administration. Torn between his origins in the Valais and Italy, his boundless curiosity and ‘hardened’ character have led him to live successively in Lebanon, the USA, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan and Algeria. After 15 years of an international life, he settled back in Valais. Sandro joined his brother at the head of the company in 1988 as a non-executive director, bringing with him a wide range ofcompetencies and his international experience. Sandro holds an LLM in international laws and an MSc in human factors in aviation.
